wooferdog Posted December 29, 2009 Share #1 Posted December 29, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) First ... I love my new M9 However often the image for review on the screen (after the shot is taken) is not the most recent shot , it's from earlier on the card. Doesn't happen every time , but enough to annoy. Is this a Software or Hardware problem ? anyone with a similar problem ? (all images OK) Regards Leslie
Advertisement Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 Hi wooferdog, Take a look here Trouble with image review on M9. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted December 29, 2009 Share #2 Posted December 29, 2009 Do you mean autoreview? You won't get many answers, it is not a very popular feature;). However, if you mean manual review, the camera will display the last shot but one if the final shot hasn't finished writing yet.
wooferdog Posted December 29, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted December 29, 2009 Thanks for your reply Jaap It's the auto review ... I'm not aware that it's not popular , it's a feature I've used for years (canon and Leica M8) it's a quick way to check on the framing and the exposure etc. So , is anyone having trouble with auto preview (mine is set to 5 seconds)
jaapv Posted December 29, 2009 Share #4 Posted December 29, 2009 I tried it now - not a good thing to have switched on... It blocks the second shot until the previous one is written - slows down the camera unacceptably imo. The setting "rel button pressed"is brilliant though. Thank you for pointing me to figuring this out
