Advertisement Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 Hi Clandrel, Take a look here 90mm Elmarit 2.8. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Printmaker Posted December 29, 2009 Share #22 Posted December 29, 2009 FWIW If you get a older tele-elmarit, you can pick it up for 400 dollars, AND the M8 recognizes the screw on the lens-mount as the proper lens coding :-) Good to know, though that DAG can code it... I am going to send the 90mm that I just got plus my M8 to get the rangefinder optimized and adjusted for this longer focal length (my M8 is currently a bit off at infinity resulting in a back-focus problem...) I just did a review of the T-Elmarit on my blog last week... -------------- Leica Tele-Elmarit 90mm Review Leica 90mm “thin” Tele-Elmarit Canada review for M8 Daniel Valente Photography I have both. My TeleElmarit was a faithful and constant companion for 30 years. I got a 90 Elmarit M with my M8. The 90 Elmarit M is better. The IQ is stunning. andym911 Posted December 29, 2009 Share #24 Posted December 29, 2009 On the M9 coding 50 and shorter is advisable, as the camera applies corrections that are lens-specific. Jaap I know but to be honest the 10 second adjustment in PP to correct any possible vignetting is the way I choose..and mostly I only see it at 28mm..35mm is fine IMO. But thanks for the note.. andy
