Frank Black Posted December 30, 2009 Share #21 Posted December 30, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) From all the experience around this forum i would like to ask input to help me decide in a buy I can buy for the same price one summicron rigid version 2 or one summicron version 3 I read the article from Daniel, where he says nice things about the version 3 (Nice one Daniel..muito bom) Any input about the rigid ? And would you go for a older Leica lens, like those i mentioned, or would you consider ther Nokton 1.4 ? I read a lot on the web, but i value the experience around here... viramati Posted December 30, 2009 Share #22 Posted December 30, 2009 my summilux 50 asph is being repaired so I'm using my back up Voigtlander 50 Nokton f1.5 and at under a 1/4 of the price this is an amazing lens (see http://www.reidreviews.com ). So If budget is a problem I would recommend considering it. P.S I bought mine here 50mm f1.5 Nokton
pimpster Posted December 31, 2009 Share #23 Posted December 31, 2009 i had the 28cron and the 50cron before. i am totally satisfied with both of them but i really want a faster lens cos i love shooting at night. i came across a good condition second hand 50lux asph recently so i upgraded the 50cron to 50 lux asph. the lens is nice but i got this aperture ring problem that pisses me off slightly
