When I down loaded the bin file and looked at the file info it showed 6.1 mb on disk. Is your download ver 2.1 or 2.2? The latter is a slightly larger file.

The instructions say to make sure your file is 6.07.035 but the only download I see for my mac is sized 5.8

You should be fine, there is an intrinsic difference in file systems that will report one size on windows and another on mac, add to that the adjustment of what constitutes an actual megabyte and the small discrepancy you notice is likely normal. Particularly if you are on Snow Leopard vs another get info shot on Leopard.

Which Operating System are you running - what about you wbarker? I'm on 10.6.2 and a get info shows 6.1 MB on disk (6,096,384 bytes) I would guess if you are on a mac you are running an OS prior to 10..6

I'm on 10.4.11 and had no problem whatsoever

the Mac automatically unzipped the download to DLX_22.bin

Then I 'right-clicked' on DLX_22.bin for Info, and the panel that came up had 5.8MB at the top, but lower down under "General" it said

5.8 MB on Disk (6,097,034 bytes)

My computer is a MacBook Pro running 10,6,2 Snow Leopard. I wonder if there is a small file size difference between the firmware ver. 2.1 and 2.2 which was just posted? I also, noted that if I double clicked the file that was unzipped by the OS and put into my download folder, there were two files: a Bin and one more. The two together were the 6 MB file. You don't see the second file in the download, if you just drag it to the SD card.
