Some shots from inside St Mary le Strand. The tripod definitely came in useful!

I am back in Germany now and have to work through all the photos. Well, about half of them were on color film, so at least I can do it in 2 shifts :)

It has been a great pleasure meeting you guys and I would especially thank Pete for organising

- the meeting point (closed...)

- the churches (eh, closed - mostly)

- the weather (oh, no, sorry, I suggested that date so I take the blame)

- the pubs (open :) ).

Thanks, Pete, also, for making me walk up half the Thames ;) - at least it felt like it but I also got some nice photos out of it!

I was back into churches on Monday, this time in the City, and apart from 2 they were open, as you predicted. I used my M7 that day so there are no photos yet to show.

Some of the photos I took on that very rainy Saturday, all with a DMR and the help of a monopod (I do need a lot more practising I am afraid):

Wolfgang,

I hope you enjoyed your stay in London this time (and you don't need to leave it for another 15 years before you visit again :p) and I hope you got some satisfying shots during the week apart from the lovely shots you've posted above. I particularly like the stained glass window and the spiral staircase..

My apologies for your long walk from Putney Bridge :o; I didn't make myself clear enough that I wasn't proposing that you should walk the whole way from there to Tower Bridge. Still, at least we know that it can be done now. :D

Pete.
