Woody Campbell Posted December 15, 2009 Share #1 Posted December 15, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Please add to this thread if you have infra red captures with your M8. From my daily photo blog (M8.2, 75mm lux at f4.0; ISO 1250; handheld; B+W 092 filter; focus bracketed like the devil - this lens behaves as if it had an infra red focus index at roughly f5.6)

offshore Posted December 16, 2009 Share #4 Posted December 16, 2009 Yagul with M8, 21 mm F2.8 pre ASPH Elmarit and Hoya IR72 Coast Cypress with 28 mm F2.8 ASPH Elmarit and Leitz IR Both images hyperfocal at F5.6 After downloading these images I remembered the problem I've always had on this site with sharpness. The cypress trees are very sharp with the grain very pronounced and that does not appear here. Both of these images have been enlarged to 20X24 with little loss in sharpness but you get the idea. nocklebeast Posted December 17, 2009 Share #12 Posted December 17, 2009 These were taken with the 28mm Elmarit and Hoya R72 IR filter. There seems to be a bit of a warmish spot (maybe not quite hot) with IR in the center with this lens.
jbgeach Posted December 18, 2009 Share #13 Posted December 18, 2009 These were both made with the CV 21 on my m8. Great lens. I haven't done a black and white conversion yet, I kind of like the red tint

Roger S Posted December 18, 2009 Share #15 Posted December 18, 2009 These were taken with a 21mm Voigtlander and Cokin 89B filter, all hand-held. These are my first uploads so forgive the quality - I don't think I've got the settings right yet. Roger
