borowiec Posted December 14, 2009 Share #1 Posted December 14, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) The X1 brochure says that the shutter speeds go down to 30s but the shutter speed dial doesn't have a B setting, only something labeled 1+. Does anyone know how this works? Is it similar to B on the M8/M9, where you see the seconds count up in the viewfinder? And is it possible to use some kind of cable release on the X1 for long exposures? Thanks, Andrew Borowiec
Advertisement Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 Hi borowiec, Take a look here long exposures. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
chkphoto Posted December 14, 2009 Share #2 Posted December 14, 2009 If it follows a similar convention to my Digilux 3, when you place the shutter speed dial on the X1's +1 (:02-:60s on the Digilux 3), you then would use the control buttons and the screen on the back to incrementally increase the time up until the X1's maximum. Don't know about the release.
