i have an extra thumbs up model 1 cutout folding back black leather case UNUSED if someone wants one.

 

i bought 2 when i got 2 m8's then realized when i was using the case i didnt need 2 bodies.

 

when i was using 2 bodies i needed to change cards and batteries FAST.

In the past I have communicated with him but I too had problems with the initial contact. This was not his fault but rather due to the fact that my mails had for some reason been marked as spam by his provider. I ended up calling him by phone.

I had the same problem but only after we exchanged about 5 emails regarding a special order for straps. For some reason my email order had been marked a spam even after communication and it had been paid for. Two months later after I had given the Post Office their opportunity I emailed him and he was very apologetic.

 

Given the web site, there was no surprise at the screwed up email communication.

 

With all that said, they were straps so who cares? I've got bigger issues to get stressed out about. And I have to say that I can't imagine putting anybody else's products on my camera :)

Luigi is greatness. My initial e-mail contact with him did take a few days (not surprising with the Christmas season), but I was able to order a case for my M9 from Luigi this past Sunday, December 20th. To my surprise, the case arrived in Texas today, December 24th. Incredible. He shipped it on Monday and it arrived across the globe three days later. I am pleasantly in shock.

 

The case looks great. I did notice that his website stated that he sometimes makes changes to the cases to improve upon them. I ordered the one with the hanging back flap. I noticed that instead of the snaps being at the top they are now in the middle (if that makes sense). I wonder what was wrong with the snaps in their previous state or if the change was purely cosmetic?

 

Anyway, Merry Christmas to all here on the forum.

Bought in-stock half case for my M8 on Dec 16, 2009 and no delivery to this date. I understand a busy holiday season, I understand slow Italian customs and problems...what I refuse to understand is lack of communication. I have sent him 3 e-mails now just to ask for an update, a tracking number, even a simple reply with "Hello from Italy"...no response. And I was patient...longer than a week between the first note and the second.

 

When you charge people a premium for your product you also need to deliver a premium level of communication, or at least start by responding within a few days. I am not stressed about the 350 spent on the case but the "I don't give a ..." attitude drives me nuts!

 

I happen to travel a lot for work, all over the world and even in remote places I manage to connect and answer some e-mails. Travel is no excuse.

 

So, the product may be all great customer service is horrible.

Afraid I followed Nightfire and treated myself to a black half case with red stitching from Mr Zhou... a Christmas present to myself... He's been impeccable on communication and price is inclusive of (slow) shipping. I'll report on quality when I get it. I don't normally bother with cases, but I often use two bodies and don't like it when they occasionally bump against each other (:o)...
