michael friedberg Posted December 10, 2009 Share #1 Posted December 10, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I heard, from a usually reliable source, a few days ago that the list price in the U.S. for the D-lux 4 will be increasing from $699 to $799. If true, I suspect it's due to the weakness of the U.S. dollar relative to the Euro. Has anyone else heard this?
Advertisement Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Hi michael friedberg, Take a look here D-lux 4: US price increading on 1/1/10?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
michael friedberg Posted December 11, 2009 Author Share #2 Posted December 11, 2009 found this on another sub-forum here: As I posted several weeks ago when I first got the memo from Leica, prices are going up as of Jan 1, 2010. But, M9 price is staying the same. So is X1, S2, and S lenses. The major price change is on M lenses, the D-Lux 4 (will be $799), and many accessories like viewfinders, straps, cases, etc. David

jsrockit Posted December 11, 2009 Share #4 Posted December 11, 2009 Hmmm... seems a bit excessive. However, it is a favorite camera among many.
MPJMP Posted December 12, 2009 Share #5 Posted December 12, 2009 After more than a year in the marketplace, most manufacturers would be looking at reducing the price of their P&S digital cameras. Whatever.
