The 62mm B+W 486 filters were commonly available and I got one a few weeks ago. The 62-60 stepping ring I ordered about three weeks ago was just shipped yesterday. I figured there is no way I would have that in time for a trip I am taking on Wednesday. I decided to take the 62mm UV-IR filter apart to see if I could get an optician to cut the glass down to fit in a 60mm B+W UV filter. Well, I got the 62mm F-pro UV-IR filter apart and realized the locking ring was 60mm thread. Lo and behold, the 62mm F-Pro filter glass will fit into the old standard B+W 60mm filter ring. Sorry about the crappy pictures, but all I has was the 19mm on the camera and I was so excited about this, I needed to get a picture to illustate it.
