Overgaard Posted December 4, 2009 Author Share #21 Posted December 4, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) "But the one lens that I feel can never live without is the 50mm Summilux-M ASPH f/2.0. Every time I look at images from it –film or digital – I have to catch my breath!" I assume, you or Riccis meant 50mm Summilux-M ASPH f/1.4. Thanks. Corrected. I was agreeing so much with the choice of lens that the keyboard turned into nice blurred bokeh ;-)
Advertisement Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Hi Overgaard, Take a look here overgaard Leica M9 page updated with new Leica M9 user interview. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
johnalex141r Posted December 4, 2009 Share #22 Posted December 4, 2009 Thorsten; Just a "thumbs up" for your web site - I have found it to be really interesting - I'd suggest it to anyone who wants to see another side of photography. I paid my way through school (late'70s early 80s) by specializing in a particular sport and shooting it; but that was telephoto lenses, water, and bright sun; I find I'm learning quite a lot by just reading and looking through your site. As Kipling once wrote: "There are nine and sixty ways of constructing tribal lays, and every single one of them is right" Thanks; JohnS.
Overgaard Posted December 5, 2009 Author Share #23 Posted December 5, 2009 Look, for example, at Michael Johnston´s blog, where there are paid ads along both edges of the page; quite visible, but not that intrusive. Thanks a LOT! That's actually an interesting way of doing it. "More is less" or something - and that is how most media does it these days. Lots of advertisement surrounding the content.
