Advertisement Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Hi bluueyee, Take a look here Should i buy Leica d-lux 4 or d3000?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
griffster Posted December 2, 2009 Share #2 Posted December 2, 2009 There is no lens interchangeability on the D-lux4. It's attached unless you use a hacksaw. You can buy an adapter and screw various filters onto this adapter, as well as the various telephoto/fisheye contraptions available for LX3/D-Lux4. Here is a nice mouth-watering photograph of just how far you can go.

lykaman Posted December 2, 2009 Share #4 Posted December 2, 2009 Hi, I own & use both DL4 & D3000. both excellent pieces of equipment.. I have just spent a few days @ Yosemite.. The DL4 was great but the D300 was greater""
jsrockit Posted December 3, 2009 Share #5 Posted December 3, 2009 How about a compromise? Get the Panasonic version of the DLUX4 and a cheaper Nikon DSLR (used even)...
