Cheers, JRM Tech: R9/DMR/F3.4 180mm APO telyt, ISO 400..the lighting was ridiculous....so I had to find the actual color balance in Photoshop. Well its OK.. I am still going to post it on Zenfolio..lets see Sea Otter Studios | Birds does it look better on Zenfolio?? absolutely...something the folks who run this server should know. and do something about. pauledell Posted November 24, 2009 Share #3 Posted November 24, 2009 John, A lovely picture with wonderful colors. It looks like one bird standing in front of a mirror. Paul
michali Posted November 24, 2009 Share #4 Posted November 24, 2009 John- Very nicely done. I checked it out on your Zenfolio site, it looks even better. It can't be helped the compression here causes some loss of detail. For obvious reasons the pictures uploaded here on the Forum have to be restricted in size. pop Posted November 25, 2009 Share #6 Posted November 25, 2009 ... For obvious reasons the pictures uploaded here on the Forum have to be restricted in size. Yes, but: the forum's limit is set at 293 kB, and the picture shown here is not quite 90. @JRM: did you remember to compress your image to some size <293 kB before uploading? If not, it was the forum which did the compression for you, and not to your liking. Nice pic and impressive colors, anyway.
rob_x2004 Posted November 26, 2009 Share #7 Posted November 26, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) John, like Phillip said, if you try to post oversize generally only eighty something k of the file loads. Dont go posting megabyte embeds like some clowns do. The image size is only 900x and the old two forty new two ninety k file size is plenty. Fabulous image.
