In one of only I think 5 areas in the world that has lake affect snow WEEE LUCKY ME, and it is hitting us today. Yes, they are good egg layers, though their eggs are 1/3 the size of your standard egg. Still, they make terrific scrambled and omelet meals. Mostly, they're kept for decor.
