andalus Posted November 19, 2009 Share #1 Posted November 19, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I read somewhere that use of a polarizing filter on a digital camera's lens somehow is not a great solution, as compared to using the pol, as I often do, with my MP and lenses. Can anyone say that the it's all the same, or not?
Advertisement Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Hi andalus, Take a look here quick question re M9. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
cliffp Posted November 19, 2009 Share #2 Posted November 19, 2009 You need to use a circular polarizer on an SLR with autofocus. A linear polarizer can be used on a manual focus camera (these polarizers also tend to be cheaper).
jaapv Posted November 19, 2009 Share #3 Posted November 19, 2009 That was true for the M8 as it needed to be stacked with the IR filter. The M9 is just like film in this respect.
