Marty Posted November 19, 2009 Share #1 Posted November 19, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) It seems Adobe are taking their time for the M9, it is still not listed in Lightroom 2.6 (currently in beta). The highlight artifacts on PowerPC's have been fixed though.
Advertisement Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Hi Marty, Take a look here LR 2.6: still no M9. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
wattsy Posted November 19, 2009 Share #2 Posted November 19, 2009 Maybe an oversight. A profile for the M9 is included in the recent LR 3 beta release (which, once installed, works within ACR and LR 2.5) so there's no reason why 2.6 shouldn't support the M9 'out of the box'. Guest farbtupfer Posted November 19, 2009 Share #3 Posted November 19, 2009 Why using LR if C1 is available....
jlancasterd Posted November 19, 2009 Share #4 Posted November 19, 2009 Why using LR if C1 is available.... Because LR2 is the RAW developer recommended by Leica for the M9 - and C1 has such a user-unfriendly interface (I used it with a Digilux 2 and a DMR and switched as soon as LR1 was avnnounced)

Not the case - the M9 Standard is part of LR 2.6. Check this discussion - I was confused at first too... Adobe Forums: Why no support for the Leica M9 in LR... fransd Posted November 25, 2009 Share #7 Posted November 25, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Use C1 for converting and LR or Aperture for the rest! I don't know why everybody is always talking about the C1 quality and then not using it.
