Guest Posted April 10, 2010 Share #41 Posted April 10, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) ...it should be possible to make a remote shutter release cable. So let's find "it"! Probably takes two guys: the IT-man and the distributor, being one who up to now had thumbs up, soft releases, Luigi bags, cable releases for cam's that don't even have that and attach to the hot shoe, focussing rings etc. Ricoh has a cable release going into the mini-usb with a AAA battery inside. Advertisement Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 Hi Guest, Take a look here Tethering would be nice. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
wlaidlaw Posted April 10, 2010 Share #42 Posted April 10, 2010 I just installed Studio Tether. It worked a couple of times but in JPEG. I changed my M9 to DNG and now Studio Tether does not work at all, even after changing back to JPEG. I even tried Snapshot mode but now no joy. The little shutter button window comes up but I get the message below. Wilson Welcome, dear visitor! focalplane Posted July 15, 2011 Share #44 Posted July 15, 2011 BE WARNED-!! Below is a quote form the Eye-Fi website (http://www.eye.fi./). Just thought everyone should be warned. "Known issues? The Leica M9 is not compatible with Eye-Fi X2 Cards. Eye-Fi has received reports that the Leica M9 may experience physical damage to the SD card slot after inserting and ejecting an Eye-Fi Card. An Eye-Fi Card should not be inserted into the Leica M9 because the removal of the card may render the SD card slot inoperable thereafter. This known issue is present in Eye-Fi X2 Cards."
