surfermark Posted November 6, 2009 Share #1 Posted November 6, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just bought my first Leica M8.2 yesterday. I decided to buy a mint used M8.2 with two lenses. A 35mm f/2 Submicron 6bit (new) and a 50mm f/2 6bit (new). I figure with these two lenses I can do just about anything in the near future as I learn how to use my first Leica. After I did tons of research and looking and feeling cameras in my hand......It was Leica hands down. This is my first Leica and I am looking so forward to using it. I am sure I will find tons of golden nuggets on this forum to help me along my path as I learn how to use and take wonderful pictures with the new M8.2. I am from San Francisco but currently living and working in Hong Kong. .....Mark

I bought the M8 new in June this year and have two lenses bought s/h - a 35 cron ASPH and a 6 bit 75 cron AA I've had for a couple of weeks now. The 35 is just fantastic on the M8 and the 75 also but is a bugg@ to focus Just loving it at the dslr is getting little use anymore. Lets see some of your pics soon. wilfredo Posted November 10, 2009 Share #9 Posted November 10, 2009 Glad to see the M8 is still drawing in new converts. Have fun with it, you have a very sophisticated tool in your hands, and if you like B&W photography, you will be very pleased!
