mweiner Posted November 3, 2009 Share #1 Posted November 3, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've used C1 to process my images since the advent of the M8 but didn't learn to exploit its potential . Now that I have an M9, I decided to go for the Pro and learn how to use it's features. I ran into several confusing issues -- several because of my own failure to see the obvious and some because of undocumented features and bugs. I have been using the C1 support request system and in several communications over the past 24 hours, their support team has helped sort out the problems and I am very pleased with the support and with how the features of C1 can streamline in my odd workflow. I have been working with the users guide and tutorials. The tutorials are a more useful than the guide, but I find I need to watch them repeated. Also, they are more of a big picture overview for each topic because there is so much more stuff that can be done in the program. C1 is not at all intuitive to learn, but I he found that what I've gotten my head around is very intuitive and powerful in the doing. There is a big, big improvement going from C1 LE v4.8 to Pro 5. Just as a tip, if you attempt certain (actually almost any) operations in C1 v5 without having designated a primary variant, it will crash. They say this will be fixed in the next update.
