One thing to also bear in mind is that we spend more time socialising than actually taking photographs for the competition. Carl Actually, the spread could be a bit wider. My own IIIf has an early serial number from a batch made between 1950 - 51. On this basis, it probably predates me .... just. I really do like to attend next year. Following Rolo's suggestion, I could even drive to Venice in a minibus. Hell, I could do it in a normal car . It is competitive enough to make it interesting, but still fun, nobody is too serious about it. I also have the impression the limitations are sharpening one's view.
