Good work, Carl!

Where do I find the advice from which you say you learned? Looks like I can learn something as well!

BTW--Do you use the D2 WA adapter much? I understand it's heavy; how is it optically? Thanks!

Use the same techniques that firearms target shooters do: feet at shoulder width, knees not locked, elbows in, take a deep breath and let half out, hold remaining breath, squeeze the shutter button so that you don't know precisely when it will fire. After practicing enough it becomes automatic and you don;'t have to think about it. This allows me to take even 1/2 second hand-held shots with my D2.

BTW: You can see some hand-held shots, all corpped at least some, from Friday night at a concert: http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/people/103743-gracious-charming-energetic-entertaining-75-four.html

Hi Carlos, nice pictures with an interesting habit.

Did you try different exposure times? For the second image, I would use a shorter exposure in order to avoid the bright glare of the lamps. What other parameters (white balance, contrast, saturation, etc.) did you use?

Best regards,

Peter.

Wow, Stuart!

I'd have been in such awe at seeing this man that I doubt I'd have been able to get the camera to my face.

Really wonderful shots!

Thanks for the link! I was blindsided by the photos!

Ho-co,

Here is the thread I've mentioned in my post:

Unfortunately i don't use the WA adapter that much, but I am planning to use it more often. It is big and heavy, but the image quality is simply superb.

Great tips Stuart! Thanks for sharing them!

I loved all you shots! Which gear did you use?

Hi Peter,

I didn't have the time to try various exposures because it started raining! The parameters of this picture are:

Aperture: 2.0

Shutter speed: 1s

Exposure bias: 0ev

ISO: 100

Focal length (35mm): 42mm

WB: Cloudy

than I have played with contrast, levels, vibrancy and colors in Aperture 2.1.
