Indecisive Posted October 25, 2009 Share #1 Posted October 25, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Why is that? Given it's all just computer code .. Seen same image in Lightroom vs Capture One Was planning to buy Lightroom but after seeing that maybe I should just use the Capture One in my M8 box? adan Posted October 25, 2009 Share #4 Posted October 25, 2009 Probably because C1 is written by a MF digital back (and now camera) company that expects to deal with images unfiltered for aliasing in the camera, whereas Adobe assumes images from most of its customers were de-moire-ed in the camera by Canon, Nikon, et al. novice9 Posted October 27, 2009 Share #5 Posted October 27, 2009 In my admittedly limited experience, I have been astounded at the superiority of C1 over LR2.5 & 3.0 (beta) in demosaicing M9 and Nikon images. Regarding the former, about 1% or so of my images show significant moire on my M9 lcd. LR has not succesfully corrected a single one of these upon initial conversion and C1 has not failed to 100% correct a single one of these. But C1 is a pita to work in ompared to LR. Perhaps that will change tomorrow?
