mobeyone Posted November 26, 2006 Share #1 Posted November 26, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) My first outing on here so please be gentle! Me and my daughter were out for a walk today, had my camera (DL2) with me and took some shots. Hope you like! Colours are rich, maybe a little over exposed? leicamann Posted November 26, 2006 Share #3 Posted November 26, 2006 Beautiful child. As for the photos, #1 you can clearly see some serious WB issues with the strong cyan cast , evident throughout the photo, the skintones, the white( well its supposed to be white) shirt and some bad digital artifacts in the trees as well. The olnly way to counter that is to : go to Menu: then go to Manual White balance, use your hand or back of your hand or even a kleen-x as a "grey card"..keep taking the WB samples until you get one that is free of these issues, manual WB..if you have the patience ...gives the best results. This also means getting free of the "Auto" mode. The last 3 images are better, very cute daughter. Thanks for sharing Regards, Leicamann

Guest lykoudos Posted November 27, 2006 Share #5 Posted November 27, 2006 Hello Mobeen, Wonderful photographs in different expression-strong tendencies, which are to be seen so spontaneous nearly only at children. jmr Posted November 27, 2006 Share #7 Posted November 27, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Mobeen, all good. I particularly like the yawning shot, it's got a nice, spontaneous feel to it and the colours all work well.
