Eoin Posted November 26, 2006 Share #1 Posted November 26, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm curious to know if the roumer that read on some forums about leica saying that you'd get a voucher for 2 lenses coded for free with the purchase of an M8 was true or not?. I know I didn't get any voucher in my box. Anyone else or was I just dreaming I read it?.
Advertisement Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 Hi Eoin, Take a look here What ever happened to the 2 lenses coded free when you bought an M8?. . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
osera Posted November 26, 2006 Share #2 Posted November 26, 2006 There was this promotion for when a new lens was purchased, but it sounds like you are referring to a coding promotion with the camera. I also did not see a voucher in the box. Maybe if the camera is "registered?" Leica Camera AG - 6-Bit Coding Promotion
chetccox Posted November 26, 2006 Share #3 Posted November 26, 2006 This promotion was also limited to the USA and Canada. Why I do not know - but at least I am closer to Solms!
nryn Posted November 26, 2006 Share #4 Posted November 26, 2006 I was told by my dealer that you get the vouchers in the mail when you send in the camera warranty registration. Details regarding shipping the M8s back to Solms are not clear to dealers. My dealer is hoping that customers can ship M8s to Leica US in NJ, which will then send them to Solms. This is my hope. I'll send them my 2 lenses and the camera at the same time (in separate boxes). I can only hope by the time I send them in that the vouchers arrive or that I can work something out with Leica.
