Will the D3 neoprene case 18667 be suitable for Digilux 2?

I use the 18667 neoprene case on my D3, and it is too big for my D2 by about 25%

On the D2 it actually looks silly......sorry.

I am fortunate in having one of the 2005 Leather Ever-Ready LC1 cases that fits the D2.

I know you must be going crazy looking for a nice case for the D2.

If you search back to 2005 in the archives of this forum I posted other cases that I had used with the D2,

ie the Minolta leather case for the 700i and 9000 series of SLRs, fits nicely on a D2, BUT without the Lens hood attached. these are on Ebay for about $20

Also the Crumpler Zieube is a great fit too with the lens hood attached, got from ebay for $20.

i disagree, i used the neoprene on both my D2 & D3 - it fit fine and i like the extra room, i say used because i lost it at Yankee Staduim last week and have been trying to replace it since.....

I took the chance and ordered one from HarrisonCameras.co.uk - I bought my D-Lux 4 from them (as well as some Nikon equipment) and they are very friendly and efficient.

The case appears to be in stock on their website, but, unfortunately, that is not the case (!). Harrison is optimistic in having the case shipped to me in one or two days.

I'll keep you posted!

Through the friendly and efficient service of harrison cameras (Harrison Cameras Online - Leica Premier Dealer, Canon, Olympus, Nikon, Photo Albums, Giottos Tripods, Lowepro Bags, Manfrotto Tripods, Viking Binoculars, ThinkTank) I recieved the neoprene case this morning. I already recieved the Panasonic case (PS-114) earlier.

I must say, I much prefer the Panasonic thing (Panasonic PS-114 Ledertasche für LC-1 schwarz: Amazon.de: Kamera & Foto); it's more practical (easier access) and can also be used as a halfcase.

I was lucky when I bought my LC1, that it came with a Luigi Halfcase. It's beautifully made and fits like a custom tailored suit, it only ever comes off to get at the SD card for downloading images.

Not sure how they work, but I wonder if one these new wifi cards might avoid all the 'undressing'.

Hmmm.......

Could someone post a picture of the camera with the half case on .. i looked at this website (Panasonic PS-114 Ledertasche für LC-1 schwarz: Amazon.de: Kamera & Foto); and that is one ugly case.

It' actually quite nice.

Pics as requested (albeit not the sharpest - if you like, I can take some nicer shots, just let me know):

A couple of quick shots of the Luigi half case on an LC1. Should mention that I have a very early Luigi and as you may notice, the cutouts for the LCD etc are not perfect, but you will see from his website that current versions are very much improved.
