johntobias Posted October 20, 2009 Share #1 Posted October 20, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm looking for a hood for this lens but they seem rarer than hens teeth...anyone suggest where I might get one.(or even got one to sell)..I'm using a 49mm vented generic hood right now which works but isn't 'right' sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but I'm new here! best wishes from Scotland john
Advertisement Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 Hi johntobias, Take a look here Elmarit - M 28mm 3rd type- Hood?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
luigi bertolotti Posted October 20, 2009 Share #2 Posted October 20, 2009 If your Elmarit is the 11804 version, its hood has code 12536 (plastic, rectangular, non vented) and I don't think is so difficult to find: I gave a quick look to Leicashop of Wien (www.leicashop.com - Leica accessories - hoods) and they have two for sale.
