Advertisement Posted October 20, 2009 Posted October 20, 2009 Hi Sandokan, Take a look here Buonas, Lake Zug. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
McClunie Posted October 20, 2009 Share #2 Posted October 20, 2009 I like the warm glow of the light.
pauledell Posted October 20, 2009 Share #3 Posted October 20, 2009 I like the first one best. Great soft colors, nice composition and clarity. Also lovely mood. Paul
Sandokan Posted October 20, 2009 Author Share #4 Posted October 20, 2009 Thanks - it was beautiful weather and a fantastic place to stay.
pop Posted October 20, 2009 Share #5 Posted October 20, 2009 Ravi - both are very beautiful for their colors and the light. I am a bit uncomfortable with the second one. I'd suggest getting rid of the foliage on top. Also, I would have tried taking a step to the right so that the fireplug aimed into the gap between the shrubs in front of the water. A like the 35 summilux, too.
thompsonkirk Posted October 21, 2009 Share #6 Posted October 21, 2009 The top one is very painterly. Congratulations. Kirk
Sandokan Posted October 21, 2009 Author Share #7 Posted October 21, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks Kirk. Philipp I think you could be right; either more of the leaves on top or eliminate them all together as they dont really work as a frame. I also see what you mean about moving right (or leftand getting a little lower). Aah, maybe if I ever get invited to Schloss Buonas again, I will try that. PS the 35 Lux and 60 Elmarit are my 2 favourites on the R. Both are superb and far superior to the 28-70 I had before.
roguewave Posted October 21, 2009 Share #8 Posted October 21, 2009 Ravi, the light in both is divine. I like the first best.
