Hey guys, Just bought my first leica yesterday, I managed to find a great used Leica Minilux in good condition. My question is to everyone that owns or has owned a Minilux is, How quiet actually are they, this is my first time working with one. I think i've ruined one roll of film already because I wasn't aware the shutter was opening. Any advice would be awesome. Just so i don't ruin more film un-intentionally. Cheers everyone Will

Hello Photographers, I am realy interested in the Leica Minilux/CM. I know that the viewfinder is not the best, but I think it will fit my needs. Now the serious part. The only thing you can read about it in the whole internet is 100% negative. Lots of error reports, discontinued repair service, battery drain, etc... I know the web is mainly a place for people with problems but is there realy nobody that can say anything positive about that little cute? (yes the lens is fine...) I can't imagine that all of the produced Minilux's and CM's are faulty or at least close to it. So what do you guys think? Is it safe to buy a Minilux/CM that is still working, while the others already stopped. Or will it die soon like all the others? Regards Ivory

Hallo, ich bin sehr an einer Minilux/CM interessiert, lese jedoch fast ausschließlich grausame Kommentare über die Kleinen im Internet. Die unüberschaubare Masse an Error Problemen, leeren Batterien und eingestelltem Reparatur-Service lässt mich grübeln, ob ich dieser, auf dem Papier sehr schönen Kamera wirklich vertrauen kann. Wie jeder von uns, habe ich natürlich auch größtes Interesse an einer zuverlässig funktionierenden Kamera. Kann es also wirklich sein, dass die gesamte Produktion derart fehlerbelastet ist? Das ein Exemplar von 1000 rumkaspert wäre ja noch vertretbar, jedochliest es sich eher, dass die gesamte Charge betroffen ist und jede früher oder später den Geist aufgibt. Das kann doch nicht sein! Bitte teilt mir also eure Erfahrungen und Meinungen zur Minilux/CM mit. Ist das Problem wirklich dermaßen verbreitet oder nur heiße Luft? Sprich, kann man eine Minilux/CM als zuverlässig bezeichnen, welche "noch immer" funktioniert? Ja es gibt die Contax T2/TVS, der Sucher der Minilux/CM gefällt mir aber besser. (kein Schnickschnack, scharfe Kanten, farbneutral und hell)

hallo forum, was macht ihr mit euren minilux "error E2" ? wegwerfen? teuer reparieren lassen? ist seit 8 jahren, also ca 3 jahre nach dem kauf defekt... viele grüße agfabox

Hallo, hat jemand Erfahrung mit der Leica CM und der Minilux. Gibt es da ein Handling oder Qualitätsunterschied? Wie ist Eure Meinung zum Blitz? Ich möchte eine von beiden kaufen. Aber ich weiß nicht wo. Robert

Hallo, ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, ob ich hier richtig bin, aber ich leg' einfach mal los: Ich habe neben einigen Ferngläserm und Spektiven DREI technisch einwandfreie Leica Kameras, die ich seit Monaten bzw. Jahren nicht nutze. Aus diesem Grund habe ich mich dazu entschlossen, sie zu verkaufen. Und an dieser Stelle hoffe ich auf Eure Unterstützung, denn ich habe keine Ahnung, was ich für die jeweilige Kamera verlagen darf ohne unverschämt zu werden. Ich habe folgende drei Bilder angefertigt, die das komplette Equipment zeigen: 1. D-LUX: Sie ist wie neu! Keine Kratzer, keine Beschädigungen! Zwei Akkus und zwei Taschen (eine noch komplett unbenutzt) sowie die OVP 2. DIGILUX 2: Im Grund ebenfalls wie neu, lediglich die Bodenplatte hat rund um die Stativschraube einige unschöne, aber oberflächige Kratzer! Drei Akkus, eine Tasche sowie die OVP 3. MINILUX zoom: minimale Gebrauchsspuren! Verpackt in einem "Leica Beutel"!

Hi, any other Minilux users experience this problem? Any advice? The image framed in the viewfinder does not match the image captured on film. For example: a photo with three windows in the background was composed so the far left and right edges of the windows were flush to the left and right of the viewfinder, however, the resulting negative has the image extending beyond the edges of the windows, far more on the left side, pushing the middle, centered window off to the right. This really sucks for composition, especially with the subject was intended to be dead center. Picture was taken with a tripod from a distance of 12-15 ft. This seems to happen with every photo, obviously more noticeable in cases such as above. Is this normal? Will I just have to learn to adjust? Thanks
