Hi everyone, I am quite new Leica user. Got M6 TTL few months ago. Love the camera big times. If I new how it's gonna be I would save my self a lot of money and time and buy one much earlier instead of going through all the cameras I've been till now. But... and there is always one BUT... shutter on my Leica is quite loud. When I say loud I mean much louder than my friend M7. It's not like a major problem but I'm wondering if it means something (as if I should check the camera)? I live in Abu Dhabi and any kind of repair or even CLA is a bit of the pain in the neck, so I would like to

As this is my first post, i would like to thank everybody for all these years reading from you. I found this forum trying to solve all my doubts when i get an M9 in 2010... Broken sensors, glass selection, manual settings, inspirational photographers, all of you have been an important guide for me to improve... i didn 't want to post anything till i feel myself i have something important to say or to ask for. I bought a "like new" M6 TTL last week (serial number denotes a 1999 model) with only three rolls run through it and have fallen head over heels in love with it. Problem is, the 50mm Summarit that I've been using on my M8 will not mount correctly to it. The lens will fit into the mount but will not twist and lock. The issue is particularly strange in that the lens mounts and focuses perfectly on my M8 and Voigtlander R4a as well as my friends' M3's, M2's, and M4's. I need some help to decide, I’ve just sold my M4-P with M6 top-plate, and now I want to upgrade but which one is best, a used M6 TTL for $1750 (Canadian dollars) or a used M7 for $1000 more? Thank in advance
