The only item that has attracted my attention in the launch of the new TL system is the EVF Visoflex Type 020 and I believe that the Leica M system deserves an updated version of its EVF with higher resolution, sensor for the eye (to switch it on/off), a tilt and swivel movement for more convenience....so Leica I hope this one is coming Your thoughts / input please...

Good day everyone I have a news to share with you all. Just received my M240 100th Anniversary Edition Black or normally known as M100 some event call it 100th M. sharing some photos with you of it as it arrived and me and my friend unboxing it. Last week i came across that M100 was launched on limited numbers to 500 bodies (250 black and 250 chrome) lucky Reddotcamers had few and managed to get from them. I must say Reddot guys are very friendly and entire deal went very smooth, They received their payment and shipped the bodies to Bahrain the same day using DHL. The M100 is sitting now side by side with M9 both are having a discussion and getting to know each other. I loved and still love M9. there was no reason for me to upgrade to M but the whole 100th year of Leica and making anniversary camera .... I just could not hold it back. Any advice on the M will be highly appreciated. gonna take it out for test drive tonight. here are some of the images of us unboxing the M100. Note: One thing i could not understand ... there was no serial number but date ... both our cameras has a day difference between each other. I am wondering if thats the new serial number for these cameras.? any advice on this.?

I escaped into the Hampshire countryside yesterday for the first time since lockdown started, and found this beautiful scene in the South Downs National Park. Hope you like it! Leica M240 = 35mm Summarit-M f2.5. 1/250 @ f8 & 250 iso. Gerry

Another view of the Marlborough Downs, taken with the APO Telyt-M 135 (on M240) on the same walk as 'Formation Eating Team'. Normally I would have taken wide-angle lenses, but using 135mm forces a re-think and a re-examination of the landscape.

LG, Stefan
