    My vintage Summicron DR from 1957 just arrived and I tested in on M3 with goggles. Engineering marvel - there is an actual order how to attach the lens. Lens first, then goggles as only then the closeup focus be activated. Being eager to test it, as there is some haze, I installed it on SL2 via adapter. Love on first sight - yes the haze is there but nothing special, bit of WB play and I got it to where I like it. However activating close range focus request that goggles are on as they press on the metal ball engagement mechanism. Some sort of 3d printed add on could do the trick as to engage it ... Anybody done it?
