I would like to buy Panasonic S1r mainly because of IBIS efficiency, I shoot mainly landscapes and my Nikon Z6's IBIS is not bad but I expect Panasonic would be much better. Is there anybody Who can compare Nikon and Panasonic? What are limits for Panasonic with L lenses? Based on IBIS specification I would expect possibility to shot 1 second exposure with 50mm focal length, is it possible? I guess electronic front curtain and shutter delay mode shoul hele.

I ran into a rather odd result from a couple of IBIS shots today. I was rather precariously perched, so my technique was somewhat compromised. I wasn't all that surprised that some shots weren't usable, so I'm not blaming the camera. As hopefully can be seen below, the right 2/3rds of the frame were reasonably sharp, but the left 1/3rd is noticeably blurred. Not that I have any deep understanding around how IBIS works, but this struck me very odd. I would have thought the result would e consistent across the frame. Was curious if anyone else had seem something similar or if anyone had an explanation around how that might be possible. Here's the shot. 16mm f7.1 at .8 seconds. Clearly DoF was not a problem
