Anyone shoot a video on their M240 while riding a train. I'm taking a Vacation by Rail trip later in the year and interested in trying video. The M doesn't have stabilization, so how good a video can be shot while moving? Any tips? Thanks.

While I can understand the concept of image stabilization, my gut still screams 'smoke and mirrors'. I know, I know, I'm incorrect. I'm assuming that since there is no (did I miss this somewhere) lens IS, that it's all in the 'Q 'body'. Who uses it and when? Yes, I know the 'suggested uses' when, but I keep mine off. I have been plagued in the past with other camera systems where it has bit me in the butt with some blurriness, both with lens and camera stabilization. Using the 'rule of thumb' shutter speed of not less than the focal length any of the knowledgeable who can shed some additional information on the Q would be appreciated.

I would like to buy Panasonic S1r mainly because of IBIS efficiency, I shoot mainly landscapes and my Nikon Z6's IBIS is not bad but I expect Panasonic would be much better. Is there anybody Who can compare Nikon and Panasonic? What are limits for Panasonic with L lenses? Based on IBIS specification I would expect possibility to shot 1 second exposure with 50mm focal length, is it possible? I guess electronic front curtain and shutter delay mode shoul hele.
