Since updating to firmware 3.1 for the Leica CL the auto ISO function has failed. There is provision to set both a maximum ISO and a minimum shutter speed. The new firmware will honor the former but fails to impose the minimum shutter speed. For example, I have a user setting for telephoto that I use when I have the 55mm-135mm lens on the CL. I have it set to a minimum of 1/125 sec so that the long lens has less chance to blur the shot. The camera no longer recognizes the limitation and will attempt pictures at significantly slower shutter speeds. Have others experienced this?

I downloaded the june 2019 versions of the manual and the quick start guide and noticed that both have now white covers instead of the traditional black. But most importantly both mention firmware 3.0, but the site only has 2.2 Anyone knows anything about it?

I have checked my CL firmware and note it has 4.0. I have seen that the latest was 4.1. Which was some time ago. A report says that 4.1 was done not to add anything but to fix bugs. As far as I am aware, my unit acts as it should. (Apart from the top display does not turn off. Off meaning go blank. If I turn it off in the menu, it will not light up, but settings are visible…..is this correct?) Has anyone had an issue with 4.1 ? And does anyone know what these “bug fixes” were for? I am of the opinion to leave well alone, if indeed all is well. Having so many features I will never get round to using, I couldn’t say for sure. The top display, is that one of the “bugs”? What I don’t want to do is to update and run into trouble……like with Apple phones!! Any help appreciated.
