Hi there,
I have been a proud owner of the Leica Q for three days now - at the moment I am working myself through all the technical possibilities of this beautiful camera. One issue got my attention:
Whenever I set the autofocus in the menu to AFc (shutter release priority, mid-size focus-field) and focus on an object, the autofocus keeps moving constantly, the display picture seems to tremble (focus point seems to "vibrate" back and forth within a certain scope) and you can hear a constant buzz for as along as I keep pressing the shutter release button halfway down.
Obviously the camera keeps repositioning the autofocus (which I guess it is supposed to do), but in this case it does that even if the distance between camera and subject doesn't change at all, e.g. if I put the camera on the table and the focused subject doesn't move (standing on the same table).
Is that normal? Have you observed that behaviour on your Leica Q, too?
The firmware of my Q is 2.0.
Thanks a lot for your answers.
