The up-close POV forces the viewer to explore the canyons on his face and meditate on what could be going on behind those beaming eyes. And, thanks to this thread, I got to discover your marvelous thread on the Los Alamos fire. That is one remarkable piece of work! It is a very good idea to put it together as a book.
