Keith (M) Posted March 20, 2012 Share #1 Â Posted March 20, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Took delivery of a new Elmarit-M 28mm ASPH this afternoon, so just had to run a quick test on my M9. Below is a local scene, taken at min focus distance, f8, 1/350sec, ISO 160. A quick grab shot during a gap in the traffic. The raw file has been run through LR3 with just the standard sharpening and a -15% vignette then exported as a 950pixel-wide .jpg. The second image is a 100% crop. To my eyes, very impressive resolution.

pauledell Posted March 20, 2012 Share #2 Â Posted March 20, 2012 Keith, Â A lovely result from an exceptional lens. That is the only lens that I would like to have to complement my M6. I am presently using a 35mm Summicron V4 for most of my work. Â Paul
myshkine Posted March 21, 2012 Share #3 Â Posted March 21, 2012 I bought the lens about one year ago, very seldom used another since. It is sharp!
