dave massolo Posted November 18, 2010 Share #1 Posted November 18, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I had Leica NJ upgrade the filmware to 1.138. I formatted a sd card, and when the power is turned on the message: Attention please reset the folder number displays. Also the message sd card full displays when I press the shutter button. The sd card was formatted on the earlier filmware. What is the best way to correct this situation when formatting the cards? Thanks
Advertisement Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 Hi dave massolo, Take a look here M9 Folders. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
250swb Posted November 18, 2010 Share #2 Posted November 18, 2010 Are you doing it properly and formatting your sd cards in the camera? Ideally you should format the card after each upload to your PC instead of just deleting the images. This is because lots of junk data is left on the card that eventually decreases its capacity, so you format the card to wipe it clean.
Shootist Posted November 18, 2010 Share #3 Posted November 18, 2010 You need to put the card in a card reader and change the folder name/number back to LEICA100 (or is it 100LEICA, whichever) and then put the card in the camera and hit the Play button and then take a shot. this should reset the folder and file numbering back to original. Then put the card back in the reader and rename the file to whatever number you left off with (Last shot taken before you sent the camera to Leica).
