plasticman Posted May 18, 2009 Share #1 Posted May 18, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) So I was ordering a couple of lattes to go at my local café, chrome M8 slung rakishly over one shoulder, when a young woman touched my elbow and said: "What a beautiful camera you have!" Not quick-witted enough to say either "I have a family waiting at home for me!" nor "You should see it with the 90-summicron attached!" adding with a raised eyebrow: "The extending hood version!" No, the best I could muster was a bashful "Errrm...well...thanks." She just smiled and added "It's really lovely" then went back to sit with her friends. So the M8 really IS a babe-magnet, after all. plasticman Posted May 18, 2009 Author Share #4 Posted May 18, 2009 I'm wondering if the camera would've had the same effect if I'd had the retractable 50 attached? Maybe that'd be okay in really cold weather...
