Corrections made to JPEG or DNG file?

Steve is right. Actually the corrections are made before the DNG (and JPG) file is generated. Assuming you have no lens recognition or l.r. switched off, which is advisable when not using an IR filter, there will be no lens-specific vignetting corrections either.

Much appreciated.

If corrections are made before JPEG and DNG files are generated, why are some users still reporting colour casts on their files even when using genuine Leica coded lenses?

Wrong settings maybe? Wrong white balance?

The only issue I know of right now with factory coded lenses is a red problem with some wide designs on the M9.

IIRC this doesn't affect the M8.

Because that has nothing to do with these corrections. Light variation is infinite, there is only so much your camera -any camera can do in WB.Colour memory is fallible with humans - the camera often sees the colour better than you. You may not even want the original colours, etc. etc.Whitebalance is applied after writing the DNG,btw.
