Keith (M) Posted December 2, 2011 Share #1 Posted December 2, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) On the 22nd Nov I ordered on-line a 90mm Elmar from an establishment in Vienna, choosing UPS shipping. It finally arrived today! The delay has nothing to do with UPS but I found the route the lens took through Europe to be quite intriguing. Now, where did I put the Tri-X and scissors... mikebidwell Posted December 2, 2011 Share #5 Posted December 2, 2011 Hi Keith Well it seems to be about right for UPS, I had a similar experience when I got my M6 back from Germany but in fairness they collected it from Solms on Friday 18th Nov and delivered it on Monday 21st November but in between it went through some odd places. Best wishes Mike

Keith (M) Posted December 3, 2011 Author Share #7 Posted December 3, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) The Elmar's travels continue - I took it out this afternoon on test, attached to my IIIg. A delightful combination. The combination is a delight to use and I continue to be amazed at the way focus 'snaps in' with the separate rangefinder window. How to go a short way in a long time (2.4miles in 1hr 7mins!)...
