The National Library of France is very welknown.

 

Four buildings in form of 4 books opened to 90 degrees which look between them, with around the wooden walk and in the centre a big internal garden

I particularly like the second of three images. The lady on the stairs provides a nice sense of scale to the large buildings.

You are right :) it's a very big and high building.

Walk is made wooden and it is impressive by the number of walks and also in comparison with the 4 buildings.
