osscat Posted February 5, 2012 Share #1 Posted February 5, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Not posted for a long while - this is from Dec 2010 - taken on The Great Flat Lode, Lower Condurrow, Troon, Cornwall. Part of the Cornish Mining World Heritage Site. The Great Flat Lode is so named because the lode was remarkably flat and not steeply inclined like so many other mineral seams. I thought I would have a play at a Black and White conversion from the Digilux 3 RAW file. Osscat Flickr: Peter Dewhurst's Photostream

pauledell Posted February 6, 2012 Share #2 Posted February 6, 2012 A great shot with the excellent composition, the lovely tonality, the backlighting with the deep shadows in which there is still plenty of detail and the overall clarity.
