SJP Posted August 19, 2010 Share #1 Posted August 19, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I was travelling with students a.o. to Dubai, where T = 48°C and RH > 70%. Not pleasant. Dubai is a strange place. Rushing out of the airconditioned coach to take picture of this famous landmark gave an interesting soft look. Not quite as intended but I find it has its merits. Advertisement Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Hi SJP, Take a look here Dubai + interesting side effect from airconditioning . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted August 19, 2010 Share #2 Posted August 19, 2010 Stephen - Neat effect. Did the coach stop long enough for your cmaera to warm up enough for clear shots?
SJP Posted August 19, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted August 19, 2010 Stuart, thank you! Yes you can survive for approx. 10 minutes without permanent damage to health. Some examples, still wondering about PP, maybe a bit darker is better althought this does convey the blinding light levels to some extent.
pauledell Posted August 19, 2010 Share #4 Posted August 19, 2010 Stephan, I like the foggy effect of your first shot. A very nice rendition. I believe I would leave the others as they are since you are giving the true feeling of the location. Thanks for your post. I can enjoy your tour in the comfort of my cool air-conditioned surroundings. Paul
