Dubai + interesting side effect from airconditioning

I was travelling with students a.o. to Dubai, where T = 48°C and RH > 70%. Not pleasant. Dubai is a strange place.

 

Rushing out of the airconditioned coach to take picture of this famous landmark gave an interesting soft look. Not quite as intended but I find it has its merits.

Yes you can survive for approx. 10 minutes without permanent damage to health.

 

Some examples, still wondering about PP, maybe a bit darker is better althought this does convey the blinding light levels to some extent.

I like the foggy effect of your first shot. A very nice rendition. I believe I would leave the others as they are since you are giving the true feeling of the location. Thanks for your post. I can enjoy your tour in the comfort of my cool air-conditioned surroundings.
