Ecar Posted March 26, 2012 Share #1 Posted March 26, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) When I click on the link for the M9 sub-forum, from anywhere in the site, I get redirected to the forum main page. I'm using IE9 on a 64-bits computer running Win 7. Anyone experiencing this?

andybarton Posted March 26, 2012 Share #2 Posted March 26, 2012 No problem here. Safari on OSX and iPad Have you emptied your cache and all the other housekeeping things?
jaapv Posted March 26, 2012 Share #3 Posted March 26, 2012 No problem here either (Macbook Air, Lion and Safari) but I got a mail from another user with the same problem.
mjh Posted March 26, 2012 Share #4 Posted March 26, 2012 I had the same issue for a few hours today but it appears to have been fixed now. (Using Firefox.)
Guest polygamer Posted March 27, 2012 Share #5 Posted March 27, 2012 Hi, I have the problem with Windows 7 64bit professional and Internet explorer.
trond Posted March 27, 2012 Share #6 Posted March 27, 2012 No problem here either (Macbook Air, Lion and Safari) but I got a mail from another user with the same problem. That user was probably me. I still have the same problem, Mac Pro OS X 10.7.4, Firefox 11.0. However, there is no problem with Safari. The problem started sometime midday yesterday. Ecar Posted March 27, 2012 Author Share #7 Posted March 27, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) Andy, Yes: cache emptied, last version of Java installed, computer rebooted, etc. Problem is still there this morning. The funny thing is that all other sub-forum links (M8, X1, etc.) work flawlessly - it's just the M9 link that seems to be gone... Will try another couple of things and report back. trond Posted March 27, 2012 Share #8 Posted March 27, 2012 Same thing here, only M9 Forum, and only in Firefox, not in Safari. Best regards Trond
andybarton Posted March 27, 2012 Share #9 Posted March 27, 2012 Works fine with Safari and Firefox on the Mac. No problem with Opera, either. Andreas rebuilt the database yesterday, so I expect that Windows browsers are having trouble keeping up.
hydeca Posted March 27, 2012 Share #10 Posted March 27, 2012 Yesterday the URL for the M9 forum changed and now its back to the previous address: http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/leica-m9-forum/ Why did it change temporarily?
hermanp Posted March 27, 2012 Share #11 Posted March 27, 2012 Had the same thing here on Windows + Firefox What worked for me was to clear the FF cache, close FF and start it again. Hope this helps,
andybarton Posted March 27, 2012 Share #12 Posted March 27, 2012 No problem on IE9 on Windows
hydeca Posted March 27, 2012 Share #13 Posted March 27, 2012 OSX Lion Server and Safari here but that's irrelevant. The URL changed temporarily then reverted to normal. Those that didn't use their M9 Forum bookmarks during the period it changed would not have experienced a problem. Anyway... no big deal... just odd. mjh Posted March 27, 2012 Share #14 Posted March 27, 2012 It wasn’t just bookmarks; clicking on some links to boards within the forum could send you to the forum’s toplevel or result in an error message. As the forum database was rebuilt yesterday and that was when the problems started, I suppose that was the cause. For me, deleting the Firefox cache solved those issues. Ecar Posted March 27, 2012 Author Share #15 Posted March 27, 2012 Now working on IE9 on my computer too. I cleared the browser cache from "F12 developer tools", as the regular "Safety -> Delete browsing history" was apparently not sufficient. Hope this helps those encountering the same issue.
