silfver Posted June 28, 2006 Author Share #2 Posted June 28, 2006 Oh, and for those that want 'context', here is the setting...you can even see me squatting in the window reflection....
robert_parker Posted June 28, 2006 Share #3 Posted June 28, 2006 I like # 1 best, even though #3 is more the classic shot - there is something special about the light and the directness of the gaze
telewatt Posted June 28, 2006 Share #4 Posted June 28, 2006 Hello Rich, the first is very nice!...the focus problems are really not the camera?!..you have to check it! regards, Jan
robert_parker Posted June 28, 2006 Share #5 Posted June 28, 2006 I can definitely live with the focus issues in #1 - the composition and unassuming gaze do it all
silfver Posted June 28, 2006 Author Share #6 Posted June 28, 2006 I guess it IS time to give the M3 a CLA. It's from 1964 and has - as far as I can tell - never been serviced.
stuny Posted June 28, 2006 Share #7 Posted June 28, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Rich - I like them all for their tones, pose, subject (we've seen this lovely woman friend of yours before) and composition. #3 & #4 have such fine focus and lovely bokeh that they seem 3D. Hello Rich, you can check it yourself at first! take a tree or something very far away and look if the infinity point is correct and check it with a second lens. ( it could be the lens too!!) regards, Jan
