This is just MY opinion, but that is not pretty and kinda bulky. I don't even see how it would work unless you like to walk around with your arms behind your back like in the photo, or bowed like you were challenged to a duel at sunset. :D

Luigi will make it to your exact size request.. I had mine made to hold my M8 & 50mm Lux... Had him add a belt loop slot on the back and a couple slots on the inside to hold a couple extra SD Cards... But I find I only keep the camera in it when I pack it in the suitcase... When I walk about it turns into a holder for a pair of lenses and the camera is strapped over my chest for "Instant deployment"...

I'd really love such pouch/bag, but pairing my M9 with a summilux 50mm, it's just going to be too thick.. :(

 

I have no problems using my Fogg Flute with my M9 and a 50mm Lux ASPH attached.

So while the camera is in the case no one knows you have an M9. What happens when you decide to take a photograph?

 

Secondly, I have a funny feeling that wearing something like that might just draw attention to yourself despite what you hope for in the last sentence.

Ahemm. I still find my technique the fastest with any lens attached.

 

It was inspired by the 'Western gunfighters" in old movies. They had to get the shot in, or die. ;)

A side point.

The Leica rangefinder rides best, IMHO, vertically. The CL had a strap attachment that allowed this and also kept the bottom plate attached to the rest of the camera when changing film, etc. But the M9 straps allow only for a horizontal carry.

Leica used to, I believe, make an old clip that would screw into the tripod hole so that you could attach the camera to a belt. It would then hang vertically, again, which IMHO is a better attitude than horizontally.

You could not do this with a digital camera b/c the clip would likely mar the back screen, or at least get in its way.

All the belt stuff, however, is a bit too much to me. I would love a way to hang the camera vertically, however. It is more discrete and anatomically friendly.

I will reserve comments on the style merits, or lack thereof, of the original post.
