Yes that looks good!
I have a chrome finish (& I have no desire for black) but this looks unusual & rather distinguished. Infinitely more desirable than pink ferret skin or whatever endangered animal seems appropriate. Is this made on demand or whas it a special issue? In the latter case was it a special occasion? |

Just where did you get it? From a authorized dealer? I suspect not. I also suspect it is a chrome M8 that someone has painted the top & bottom plate black.
If this was a real factory paint job and there were only 5 of them made it would be worth mucho dinaro. But hey what do I know. |

Nice! They made some "panda" M7s or M6s, if I remember right, and that combo looks really nice. I too would like to know where you found that?

I just saw someone picking up one of these. This comes from a very official source: 50 of them made, $22,000 worth, not for sale but just special promotional item. I was there when the owner of a very big camera store received his, which he bought for his collection.

I just would like the reverse.
I'd like to put two black knobs on my silver M8 to make a sort of Panda M8...

I just remembered that my friend's is different to this one since it has a Leica black dot instead of the red one.
