I have 2 M8's because one is always going back to Leica, or at least that is the way it seems. I rarely use both together even if both are in my possession. Guest jimmy pro Posted July 7, 2008 Share #4  Posted July 7, 2008 Just where do you get this stuff.  From the other threads "discussing" Kamber's "opinions" on the M8. Not everyone on the jury was unanamous though  Sorry for your troubles with your M8's. Reminds me of what they used to say about Jaguars that you had to buy 2 of them so you'd have one to drive while the other one's in the shop. It was true by my experience, though I got a free loaner whenever mine was in the shop. If I hadn't I'd of rented a Ford...same way I'll use a Canon if my M8 goes in for service. No way I'd buy a second one. Saving for an M9.
danyves Posted July 7, 2008 Share #5 Â Posted July 7, 2008 I am using two M8 bodies, one bought new, one second hand (initially bought demo) for 2700 euros. No problems on both bodies.
SJP Posted July 7, 2008 Share #6 Â Posted July 7, 2008 Having read Bill Pierce's article I think this is pretty good as a review. The M8 is not perfect but it IS special. That is what he is saying & that is fine with me.

I used to run a Mini along with my XJ6 Â Actually the Jag was very reliable, only let me down once due to a broken resistor, and it was an older model.
