Pecole Posted November 11, 2012 Share #1 Posted November 11, 2012 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Back to my "fontenelle archives" after discovering and scanning two sets of film strips dated February and March, 1999. Here is a curious item I discovered 30 years ago at a flea market. It is identified "E. Leitz New-York" by a simple decal, but paid the equivalent of 25 euro cents, it is not a suspected fake ! This slide hand viewer is made of black plastic and dismantles in three pieces. When submitted to Jim Lager, it was identified as an item sold, but never catalogued (nor of course made) by the American Leitz branch in the 1950s. In fact, it very much looked as a cheap copy of the NAKUL. Anyhow, since it beared THE logo, it had a place in the Fontenelle collection !
